Let KG out of prison

After a guy goes directly to the NBA from high school and turns into your franchise player for a decade it is time to let him contend for a championship. Kevin Garnett is one of the most talented, best all around players of all time. The guy is seven feet tall and dribbles the ball like hes a point guard, drains threes like a shooting guard, and dominates the paint like power forwards and centers. He is an all in one package combining his size and versatility to create an almost inhuman being. I cant believe the guy is already 31 years old. He has been in the league now 12 years and the closest his Twolves ever had to making a playoff run was when they had three guys named Cassell, Robinson, and Sprewell who were all past their primes. The only reason the Wolves are never the complete laugh stock of the league is because of KG. The guy doesnt get as much exposure because he plays in Minnesota, but let me tell you something. Put this guy on a big market team, and not only will he put fans in the seats, he will help contend for a championship. I dont want KG to be a Ewing or Malone. He deserves that chance to contend. At least Ewing and Malone made a championship. Allow KG that chance before he no longer is the dominant player that he is today. I dont know what the Timberwolves management has been doing for the last decade plus. All they have to do is bring in a guy that has just enough talent to make it seem like it is more than KG vs the entire other team. Everytime I watch the Timberwolves play Garnett is all over the court doing everything imaginable. He will dunk, rebound, block shots, steal passes, dribble behind his back and through his legs, chuck up a three. He does this without ever being called selfish. The guy has never gotten into trouble with the law, he is a great citizen, and not once do you hear him complain about a contract issue or what the team needs to do. I wouldnt complain either if I made 22 million dollars a year, but KG is one player who deserves every penny of it and has my upmost respect. Kevin McHale have a little decency and send KG to the Suns, the Lakers, or anybody for that matter that plays to win championships. I expect Kevin Garnett to be in different colors for the beginning of the 07-08 season. If he isnt I wouldnt blame him for opening up his mouth and being disgruntled at the pathetic situation in a city that has much more of a passion for hockey and football. Kevin Garnett is a parents wet dream. He is a model citizen, and a world class athlete. That is a great person to look up to in this day of age.
